Our Team
Alex, Maisie, and Nicole are three Senior Biomedical Engineering Students. They are so thankful for the partnership with Steve Pate and Dr. Morgan and are excited to show them what they've got!
Alex is performing research in a neurobiology lab which studies information processing in the brain under various conditions and has experience with wearable technologies through his work with the IDEA Labs medical engineering design incubator at the Wash U Medical School. Alex is a member of the university’s men’s club volleyball team.
Maisie has done research in both a Traumatic Brain Injury Lab studying dynamic brain deformation and an Applied Biomechanics Laboratory studying the effects of diabetic hammertoe on motion. Maisie is also one of the captains of the Varsity Track and Field Team.
Nicole is doing research in the Human Performance Laboratory studying the practicality of using the Microsoft Kinect for both rehabilitation and movement analysis. Nicole is also a member of the Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.
